Description
BRLO IPA is a refreshing and bold West Coast IPA brewed by Berlin's BRLO brewery. Inspired by classic American West Coast brewing traditions, this beer lets you ride a wave of vibrant hop aromas. An easy-drinking yet distinctly bitter IPA that effortlessly carries you from one BRLO IPA to the next.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, this beer showcases a clear, golden-amber hue topped with a firm white head. The aroma immediately bursts with fresh tangerine, ripe grapefruit, and distinct pine resin. On the palate, it delivers a powerful hop hit with a solid 61 IBU, where bright citrus flavors merge with a crisp, dry, and pleasantly bitter finish.
Food Pairing
Thanks to its pronounced bitterness and fresh citrus and pine notes, BRLO IPA pairs wonderfully with both spicy meals and casual moments:
Classics: Pairs brilliantly with spicy foods such as Mexican tacos, aromatic Indian curries, crispy Buffalo wings, or a juicy beef burger.
Cheese Tip: Excellent alongside sharp, aged cheeses like mature Cheddar, aged Gouda, or a creamy blue cheese that cuts through the hop bitterness.
Surprising: Ideal for couch surfing, crowd surfing at a gig, or club surfing through the night. Also makes for the perfect icebreaker on a first (or last) date.

Beer Range
It all started with two original beers: the Helles and the Pale Ale. Since then, the range has expanded significantly to eight core beers. The lineup now consists of the Helles, Pale Ale, Happy Pils, German IPA, Porter, the non-alcoholic Naked, an original Berliner Weisse, and the latest addition: the West Coast IPA.
Brewhouse
In 2017, the impressive BRLO BRWHOUSE opened its doors at Gleisdreieck, in the heart of Berlin. This unique location is built from 38 converted shipping containers and forms the vibrant heart of the brand. Here you will find their own microbrewery, a sprawling beer garden, and an innovative restaurant managed by Ben Pommer.
