Description
BRLO Berliner Weisse is a refreshing, artisanal tribute to Berlin's most iconic beer style. Napoleon rightly dubbed this historic style the "Champagne of the North". BRLO brings this traditional sour classic back to life with a modern twist. A highly drinkable, low-ABV specialty beer that proves authentic Berliner Weisse needs no added syrup to shine.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, this beer displays a pale straw, slightly hazy color with a lively white head. The aroma is crisp, citrusy, and subtly tart. On the palate, a pleasant, gentle sourness takes center stage, accompanied by effervescent carbonation and a faint wheat malt graininess.
Food Pairing
Thanks to its crisp acidity, low alcohol content, and effervescent profile, BRLO Berliner Weisse makes a fantastic companion for light and delicate pairings:
Classics: Pairs brilliantly with light summer dishes like fresh goat cheese salads, ceviche, fish carpaccio, or grilled white fish.
Cheese Tip: Perfect alongside fresh, creamy cheeses like young goat cheese, burrata, or mild Brie that offer a velvety contrast to the crisp acidity.
Surprising: Best enjoyed straight up without sweet syrup (no syrup needed!). Surprisingly great as a refreshing aperitif before dinner or served alongside fresh oysters and seafood.

Beer Range
It all started with two original beers: the Helles and the Pale Ale. Since then, the range has expanded significantly to eight core beers. The lineup now consists of the Helles, Pale Ale, Happy Pils, German IPA, Porter, the non-alcoholic Naked, an original Berliner Weisse, and the latest addition: the West Coast IPA.
Brewhouse
In 2017, the impressive BRLO BRWHOUSE opened its doors at Gleisdreieck, in the heart of Berlin. This unique location is built from 38 converted shipping containers and forms the vibrant heart of the brand. Here you will find their own microbrewery, a sprawling beer garden, and an innovative restaurant managed by Ben Pommer.
