Tasting Note
A clean and bright wine. The nose reveals delicate aromas of white flowers, elderflower, and acacia, complemented by refreshing notes of ginger and citrus fruits. The flavour is characteristically clean and bright, with a fresh and well-integrated acidity that ensures liveliness and balance.
Food Pairing
The freshness, purity, and aromatic complexity make this wine a versatile companion. The wine pairs excellently with grilled white fish, shellfish (such as oysters or shrimp), or sushi. The notes of ginger and citrus align beautifully with the flavours of Thai or Vietnamese cuisine. Additionally, the wine is a wonderful combination with fresh salads, especially those featuring green asparagus or goat cheese.

This historic winery, located on the prestigious 'Golden Mile' of the Duero Valley, distinguishes itself through a centuries-old tradition and a pioneering vision. The absolute highlight? Abadía Retuerta recently received the highest recognition in the wine world: an exclusive, proprietary Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).
